By submitting a request for a quote, I hereby acknowledge and agree to abide by all the terms and conditions set forth by Dublin Window Tint. I understand that these terms and conditions govern the provision of services, pricing, warranties, and any other relevant aspects of the business relationship between myself and Dublin Window Tint. I am signing it voluntarily and of my own free will, fully intending to be legally bound by its terms.

PRIVACY POLICY:

All information submitted by clients in our "Get-A-quote" system is securely stored and NEVER shared! Information such as phone numbers and email are used for our automated response system to ensure quick service time. Under no circumstance will this information be sold, made public, and modified.

 

WINDOW TINT TERMS & CONDITIONS

California LAW:
California law requires the driver and passenger front side windows to have a visible light transmission (VLT) of 70% or higher. Customers installing VLTs not approved by California Law release any and all liabilities from Dublin Window Tint.

​

Warranties:
Your warranties will cover bubbling, peeling, fading, and yellowing during the warranty period. Dublin Window Tint doesn't cover ordinary wear and tear or damage caused by improper use or accidents. All warranties set forth herein are not conveyed to the owner.

DRYING TIME:
Your new window film will take 2-5 days to dry before you can roll your windows down. It will take 2-3 weeks to fully cure depending on weather conditions. Failure to follow aftercare instructions voids any warranty.

BLACK DOT MATRIX:
Most cars have a black ceramic edge on the side, rear windows, and windshields. Sometimes this ceramic edge is flat, and other times it's dotted. These thick dots on most cars prevent the window film from sticking to the area between the dots, resulting in a white-looking edge. This is completely normal and unavoidable. All water will evaporate after the film is cured, leaving a uniform air border.

WINDOW FILM REMOVAL & Pricing:
Window film removal may cause the window defroster to be damaged. By authorizing Dublin Window Tint to proceed with the window film removal, the customer hereby acknowledges the risk involved and waives any claims against Dublin Window Tint and agrees to hold Dublin Window Tint harmless in the event that damage does occur during the removal process. 

WINDOW FILM REMOVALS RANGE IN PRICING FROM $0 - $150/HR

IMPERFECTIONS:
Although we strive for perfection in our window film installations, due to the nature of the product, some degree of dust, contamination, and minor imperfections are present in every window film application. Also, pre-existing flaws and scratches are often much more noticeable after the windows are tinted. Older vehicles will have more imperfections due to their age and deteriorating gasket materials.

FLAT GLASS / WINDSHIELD:
Some windows require custom hand cutting using stainless steel glass-safe blades. Even with the proper equipment and precautions, original equipment (OE) or aftermarket glass can still scratch. By proceeding with the installation, the customer acknowledges the risk involved and waives any claims against Dublin Window Tint and agrees to hold Dublin Window Tint harmless in the event that damage does occur during the installation and trimming process.

PAINT PROTECTION FILM TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

DRYING TIME:
Your new paint protection film will take 3-4 weeks to fully cure depending on weather conditions. Do not wash the vehicle for 5 days. Wrapped vehicles should be brought back for an inspection within 2 weeks.

CONDITION OF VEHICLE FOR PAINT PROTECTION FILM APPLICATION:
Vehicles cannot have any type of coatings on the finish, as they can affect the effectiveness of adhesion and may cause lifting, bubbles, and other issues that are not covered under manufacturer warranties. The client is aware that the design of the paint protection film is for OEM factory paint. The client waives and releases Dublin Window Tint from any warranty or damage claims where a product has been applied to a non-OEM painted surface.

INSTALLATION:
Some of our paint protection kits are computer-cut using special cutting software. Precut kits involve stopping short of an edge, edges around badges, washers, and corners. The customer understands that the paint protection film is a sacrificial layer for their car and not a complete invisible layer. Customers may choose to have a custom design fit or bulk install for an additional fee. Even with bulk-cut film, customers hereby understand that due to limitations of film technology, not all edges, corners, etc., may be covered.

PAINT PROTECTION FILM REMOVAL:
Paint protection film removal may cause damage to the paint. By authorizing Dublin Window Tint to proceed with the removal, the customer hereby acknowledges the risk and waives any claims against Dublin Window Tint and agrees to hold Dublin Window Tint harmless in the event that damage does occur during the removal process.

IMPERFECTIONS:
Although we strive for perfection in our installations, due to the nature of this product, some degree of dust, contamination, and minor imperfections are present in every Paint Protection Film application. Also, pre-existing flaws such as scratches, rock chips, debris in the paint, debris in the clear coat, misaligned body panels, and sanding marks are much more noticeable after the paint protection film is applied. Paint Protection Film will have minor imperfections such as slight orange peel and may also include other manufacturer defects. Vehicles with 200 or more miles may have more imperfections due to mileage and use.

HEADLIGHTS: Headlights are not recommended for paint protection film due to HID features and some exterior coatings on the lens. By authorizing Dublin Window Tint to proceed with the headlight film application, customers hereby acknowledge the risk and waive any claims against Dublin Window Tint and agree to hold Dublin Window Tint harmless in the event that damage does occur during the installation process.

Follow Up Appointments: All Paint Protection Film Appointments are allotted one touch up appointment. These are performed on the FIRST AND LAST friday of each month. It is the clients responsibility to return for a touchup appointment within 21 Days of the projects completion or the labor warranty is void. Material warranty persists however any additional touch ups requested by the client will be charged according to the amount of work needed and at the business owners discretion. Making it to your touchup appointment is crucial to long lasting quality results... Dont miss it.

WARRANTIES:
Your warranties will cover bubbling, peeling, fading, and yellowing during the warranty period.

Photo Release Authorization Permission:
I agree that Dublin Window Tint may use photographs of me and my property for any lawful purpose, including publicity, illustrations, advertising, website use, and social media content, with or without my name.

OEM Defects:

Uncured Paint -

I hereby acknowledge that my vehicle's paint may be in an uncured state at the time of drop off. I further acknowledge that the uncured paint may be susceptible to damage, such as scratches, marring, or color transfer, during the application of any products or services provided by Dublin Window Tint.

By signing this release of liability, I fully assume all risks associated with the application of products or services on my vehicle's uncured paint. I release Dublin Window Tint, its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any damage or issues resulting from the application process on the uncured paint.

I understand that any warranty or guarantee provided by Dublin Window Tint does not extend to any damage or issues related to the uncured paint. Furthermore, I agree to hold Dublin Window Tint harmless and indemnify them against any costs, expenses, or damages incurred due to any claims, demands, or causes of action arising from the application process on the uncured paint.

 

Clips & Trims -

I acknowledge and understand that during the course of providing services or performing work on my vehicle by Dublin Window Tint, there is a possibility of breaking or damaging clips, fasteners, or similar components. These clips may be found in various areas of the vehicle, including but not limited to the interior, exterior, engine compartment, or undercarriage.

By signing this release of liability, I assume all risks associated with the potential breaking or damage of clips during the provision of services or work on my vehicle. I release Dublin Window Tint, its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to the breaking or damage of clips.

I understand that any warranty or guarantee provided by Dublin Window Tint does not cover the replacement or repair of clips or similar components. Furthermore, I agree to hold Dublin Window Tint harmless and indemnify them against any costs, expenses, or damages incurred due to any claims, demands, or causes of action arising from the breaking or damage of clips.

Storage Fee:
We have limited space at Dublin Window Tint; therefore, your vehicle will be subject to a $200 per day storage fee before and after the service is provided. You agree to this storage fee. This fee may be waived and dismissed with the owner's approval. No other staff members can excuse this fee.

PRE-EXISTING CONDITION AND DAMAGE:
"I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS 'Dublin Window Tint,' ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS I AND ANY ATTENDING FAMILY OR CHILD UNDER MY GUARDIANSHIP, MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH LIABILITY MAY ARISE SOLELY OUT OF NEGLIGENCE OR CARELESSNESS ON THE PART OF 'Dublin Window Tint' AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS, INCLUDING STRICT LIABILITY. 'You agree to hold Dublin Window Tint harmless for any damage or claims whatsoever to the vehicle, regardless of whether such damage or claims arise solely out of negligence or recklessness on the part of Dublin Window Tint while in our care.'"

COST OF TIME:
Dublin Window Tint provides high-quality, well-trained professional services. As such, we both agree that Dublin Window Tint Film Installers' time is worth a minimum of $125 per hour. This fee may be waived and dismissed with the owner's approval. No other staff members can excuse this fee.
